MARIONETTES

These puppets were created during a four-month Erasmus art residency in Athens. Inspired by Greek mythology and the deities of Mount Olympus, I experimented with a range of materials before choosing polymer clay for the final models.While polymer clay is not ideal for long-term durability — it tends to age rather poorly — it served as an important pre-study for a future, more refined approach using porcelain.

Working physically with materials is something I deeply enjoy; the tactile process is essential to how I connect with my work.
